New in 1.13 version - adapted to Linux Debian Lenny - If sound do not work for you, try apt-get install libsdl1.2-all
Other YAP stands for Yet Another Pacman.
It was Created on june 1993 and ported to SDL version in 2006.
This game is FREEWARE.

Old C4 demo video (avi format)hot!

Hello,
Cyril managed to transcode the old VHS of the demo video we made for the game C4.
I translated it to divx avi, but the general quality is poor.
The objective of the video was to find distributor for the game, it was 10 years ago. But it was a real pleasure to see it again! Size: 33 MB

Short: Yet Another Pacman: lots bonus, editable Levels, old MS-DOS game from 1993
Type: games, binary, DOS
Yet Another Pacman offers an arcade 's style game and an arcade quality animation, lots of bonus ( speed, glue, jumps, etc), and editable levels (in an ASCII file !).
This game sleeps since june 1993 on my harddrive, I decided to release it just because it could be of some interests for someone.
I plan to work on a port to Linux, just to give it to free community. There exist a Windows & Linux version !

Source code of YAP (Yet Another PACMAN v0.047) as is from 1993
Feel free to use it as you like, provided that you mention my name clearly in whatever you do with it. There is also the Windows version in this website.
This game was my first game with 'C' language, and my first on PC : it was on 1993, i was 20.
At this time, chool was so boring (again more with lists, trees, etc..). so we started with a friend (Matthieu Fauqueux) to compete on game programming for the school. And finally, i achieved this...in two weeks !
So of course, this is not a programming model, but it looks quite good. The Ghosts mini-IA and learning 'C' had mainly motivated me. Before that I used to code only with 68000 assembly!
Technical facts:
Target: DOS
Language: Tasm and Borland C++ for DOS
Library: Dos gfx library "Xlib"
